Not one to spout rumours, McKenzie is reporting that Dallas may put their captain on the block between now and the deadline.

He's got another year left at $4.1 million. If we were closer, this might be the sort of move I'd jump at. Brendan if, traded, should fetch a pretty hefty return. Great leader, really good two way player, durable, etc. 33 years old.

I agree he's not a good fit. But, he's the kind of player perfect for a team that's close. His numbers have dipped this year, but he scored more than 30 last year.

I think anyone in the top 4 of either conference should be interested at the very least.
