tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=386262Perhaps it was an unwritten rule, but I always thought All Star weekend was something of a 'no trade' zone. In return for Morrison, the Flames get 25 year old AHL All Star defenceman Brian Connelly.

Not a big surprise. Feaster says in today's paper that they're clearing space "in case we make a deal before the deadline." Strong rumors that they're going after either D Roy or J Carter.

why anyone would go after Carter is beyond me.

reputed to be a partier [which is why he was shipped out of Philly].
hey, I have him in a keeper pool and wish only the best for him . . . but this hasn't been a good year. and that contract -- sheesh! $5.3M until 2022.
