Instead of getting another tempermental Russian, I'd rather get a guy like Dustin Brown. He's having an off year, but has hit 60pts and more than 30 goals. He's physical and plays with edge. He's got skill. He's their captain and has been considered a good leader. He's got a couple years left with a cap hit of $3.175 million per - strong value imo. Another NY boy too.

He's rumoured to be available. I'd be inquiring.

Your post reminded me of how PK and Ellis interacted in the past which gave me a good chuckle. If I remember correctly Ellis was pretty frustrated with Subban when they played for Canada at the World Juniors because Ellis was the QB on the powerplay and thought PK should let him do his job and not be such a glory hog. I'm not sure how that reunion would turn out.
