Regardless of the possible outcome...i.e. the ball may have been overthrown anyway or out-of-bounds if caught...Smith had a good grip on his jersey and definitely held him up, which is a hold.
Anyway, the 49ers did themselves no favours in the first half, and to start the second. Glad I saw that record-breaking 109-yrd. kickoff return, though.

A tale of two halves, almost. The delay definitely helped the 49ers regroup. I didn't like their play calls in that goal line situation. Was the non call on 4th down a penalty? Yep. Makes up for the hit out of bounds on Flacco on an earlier drive, though that wasn't a potentially game deciding play. I think the hold gets called in a regular season game, which is unfortunate. Should have been first and goal at the one yard line.

Being a true capitalist, I don't watch the game, I watch the commercials!

The Jeep commercials were great and cheesy at the same time. All they had to do is just put the Jeep brand in the and that's it. Sticking it inside the commercial made it....uggg.... MB commercial worked too. My only disappointment was that they didn't recruit me for the devils part. Best of all time....
