Some rumours on Twitter saying it's a possibility that he could be coming back to Montreal.
Whats with the Habs trading for these ex-Habs?

Just a rumor for now.
He's averaging a point per game and is -4. Has one year left at a 6 million dollar cap hit.
I'd like to move away from these small forwards. No thanks.
And I think after his latest fiasco Feaster will be very careful with his next move.

I do think he'd excel in Therrien's system. Maybe if they packaged McGrattan with him, and took Gionta and a late pick in 2014.
I think it's going to be an interesting 30 days leading up to the deadline. Flames rumours should be rampant.

It wouldn't be high on my list of things to do. I would certainly prefer to add skill that comes with size.

...in 45 games since joining the Flames he's got 19 goals, 35 pts. That's a player on pace for 35g/64pts.
I'd take him ahead of Gionta and Ryder anyday.

Those stats have been padded by a strong last 10 games or so. He and Iggy have been playing better. In the deal I threw against the wall above, I tried to come up with something that gives them some cap relief and doesn't come across as a complete bailout to their fans.

Why would Flames want to break him and Iggy up? That was reason they re-acquired Cammy

It will certainly get the ball rolling, and perhaps precipitate other deals. Pity if they were all done before TSN's deadline show lol.

Really odd turn of events from a team who just a few days ago were buyers. Offering their draft choices for O'Reilly. Now they are in fire sale mode

As dumb as Feaster has looked with the O'Reily fiasco, I doubt he would be suckered in to a deal like this. He would basically be getting a less productive player while not getting any younger and would still be stuck with a fat contract next year. I would be all over this deal though especially with the kind of playoffs Cammy enjoyed with us a few years ago. In any event, it's doubtful a deal for Cammy comes through since we just got rid of Cole to gain cap flexibility.

They get a slightly cheaper contract, and Feaster doesn't look like he's blowing things up. During the same time period in Montreal, Gio was every bit as productive. Never under estimate the stupidity of Feaster lol. Either way, I don't see it happening either.

I'm all for stealing from fellow Canadians.....particularly if it's Calgary.
Anton Bobchuk...stay at home defenseman that never lived up to his hype. If cheap enough, he may play decently besides our other evil commie Ruskies. Maybe a 5th for him.
Stajan.....for us, he would be a 4th liner and give us some depth at center. Replacement for White.
Jackman...real fourth line upgrade with size, work ethic and a bit of nastiness. Armstrong is doing squat for us.
These are fillers and wont cost much but they can improve holes. Stajan and Jackman would actually give us one of the best fourth lines.

Has Cammy grown 5 inches and 50 lbs? If not, no thanks. LIke him, but we have enough smurfs.

Been there, done that. Good luck to Cammy in Calgary. He's contributing in a big way but they also have his salary as well.
Would like to see Bergevin bring in Iginla, but it doesn't seem to be his way of doing business. He'd probably have to fork out a prospect(s) and a high draft pick.
Too bad we don't have any juggernauts in the Bart Crashley, Bill Collins molds to dangle ;D
Cheers.
