I will say, however, that it is impossible to separate the religious/spiritual part of a person from the political part of the person . . . it's all part and parcel of the whole . . . the religious [or lack thereof] influences the political, and vice versa. freedom of religion and freedom from religion are two different things. know, though, that I am by no means advocating theocracy or religious dominance [that's politics in a different guise].
Freedom from religion can and by and large, has separated in Western countries. This is a struggle of political power and social under the guise of religion. We MUST change the conversation back to secular state and attack the tenants of that religion from that point.
Think about this, twenty years ago, we talked about the weather, now, those with an enviro agenda has managed to link any talk about the weather with "global warming". You would of laughed if someone seriously told you that man could effect the weather 20 years ago. Today? We need to do the same thing with Islams political and social aspirations. We are not going to stop hearing Muslim "victimhood" until we vilify political Islam. There are too many interest, some real, most contrived political expediency in the "victim" mentality. You can't fight that.
Define the problem. Isolate the problem. Vilify the the problem. And you have a chance. Political and social control of Islam is the problem. WE are and will always be a secular society. Stoning, bagging, hand cutting are barbaric practices. Those who advocate them and their associations are hateful, barbaric people who can not be given "freedom of religion" to spread their despicable thinking.
Rinse. Repeat. Every day. Every corner. Constantly. Finger point at anyone who gives them political cover under the "victim" banner. Call them enablers. Call them collaborators. Link them to the crimes and fascist aspects of the POLITICAL ideology. Remain on point. Always. Do not deviate. Never let it spin and take spiritual cover.
Do nothing and it will get worse. Let it fester as a competing "ideology" and it will get worse. Let it succeed, even partially and it WILL be worse.
