www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=441275Dubnyk's stock has really taken a hit with his drop in play. Hendricks is a 4th liner journeyman. He will add some jam to their bottom six though.

Edmonton can trade Dubnyk but MB can't trade Bourque?
Dubnyk 3.5 - UFA at end of year Bourque 3.3 for 2 years after this one. No wonder he can't be traded.

No doubt that's the biggest stumbling block with Bourque. I also think getting him back over to the right side would help. He's had his best success there. He's largely been made to play the LW in Montreal.

So they are actually going to go all in with Bryzgalov? Or have they thrown in the towel on this season?
Is Rinne's injury long term? Perhaps Nashville felt they needed someone with more NHL experience.

He's largely been made to play the LW in Montreal. That is an even bigger reason to put him with Patches and DD, he can play the right side, hopefully he can pick up his game and we can get a floor team to take him for his cap hit. His cap hit is 3.333 but for next year and the year after his actual salary is only 2.5 Check out Bourque's spending efficiencyWhat is amazing is how much money he makes per point... glad I did not see this tab when we had Gomer.

EDIT: 3rd rounder this year. Most Oilers fans on HF seem pleased even if a 4th liner signed for $1.85 million through 2017 was the return.

Seems to me that it cost them DD and a third round pick and they picked up a good goaltender and a solid 4th line journey man. Had it been MTL instead of EDM, I'd be happy. Not ecstatic, just happy.

Kind of like going back to Toronto for Scrivens.
Toronto leads the league in shots against avg. at 36.5.
Edmonton is #8 at 31.7.
Doesn't seem like a big swing from the Kings, who are #28 at 27.1....but it's the quality of the shots because of the D-zone play that matters most.

Sure, why shoot from the point when you can pass it to the open guy in the low slot. I wouldn't be surprised if Mitch Korn works his magic with Dubnyk.
