Moulson's one goal in ten playoff games is hardly awe-inspiring.
His numbers also dropped off significantly once away from John Tavares and the Islanders. I could be wrong, but it wouldn't surprise me if he would be nothing more than a 20 goal, 45 point player with us. Sure, we could use another 20 goal scorer (who couldn't?) but at the likely cost of a five year, $30+ million contract? Buyer beware...

Moulson is certainly a second class citizen compared to a Vanek. I do think we have the play making centers to keep Moulson in a 25-30g and 50 plus point pace though. He's got a quick release and an accurate shot. He works well from the slot area too. Might be a good PP specialist for someone as well.
