Be it PressTV or not….there is truth in it, as found via other searches. The Federal Court DID rule election fraud in the 2011 PC campaign. Not enough to affect the outcome…yes. But if the Libs or NDP want to twist it for an attack they certainly can…omitting the part about only 6 ridings and not affecting the outcome.
That's what I'm talking about.
There are more than enough passages and quotes in the National Post article that Dis posted to do the job.

The Council of Canadians, a far left social and environmental "action" group launched a lawsuit to overturn the election of the Evil Conservative nightmare. Here is what the judge said.....from many sources... The ONLY thing the Council of Canadians got was that there was a "court ruling on election fraud". Which is not saying much. Everyone who goes to court gets a ruling. Including me. Four times. The process is not an indictment. On the other hand..... The CRTC charged and fined a LIBERAL MP Frank Valeriote. direct smoking gun of LIBERAL PARTY fraud....which conveniently, was never the target of that bastion of electoral concern the Council of Canadians. I wonder why? As for Press tv.... Other then "inciting" a conversation, they like RT Television (Russian) are worthless source of anti Western sensationalism. There are also far left and far right worthless sources like Thinkprogess and a thousand far left offshoots as well as Townhall and a thousand far right offshoots.

Yes, HA. I know the story is basically irrelevant.
But attack ad people don't care about that.
Even in the National Post story, the judge is quoted as saying: “In reaching this conclusion, I make no finding that the Conservative Party of Canada or any CPC candidates or RMG and RackNine Inc., were directly involved in any campaign to mislead voters,” he ruled.
But he DID rule election fraud on the part of PCs in those 6 ridings.
So…it was done….but it wasn't an organized, party-led campaign. No charges were laid. Investigation closed. Slap on the wrist.
If anything, the message from the Court to Harper is: Keep a closer eye on your people.
But that's NOT what the spin doctors will use. That's my only point.

So if you vote for Harper, we're good!
