Costly blunder there by Markov and Plekanec.

Now a penalty to end the period. They played a solid 19:40 of that period.

not impressed with Gilbert. Twice he had easy clears on the PK earlier in the period & threw it to the point. And I thought he gave up his pursuit of the puck too easily on the goal.

Subban didn't trip Hall. Hall simply fell. But PK had his stick in front of him....so the ref called it.
Smart move on Hall's part. No danger of being called a dive at quick speed and close quarters...so do it.
If the Oilers score on the PP to start the second....it's gonna be a tough climb back....even though we're clearly the better team.
The boys are already ticked at the no-goal...and now a bogus penalty.

grrrr bad minute Oil /Redskins score for me so far both my teams losing to inferior teams tonight Just watched Demarco Murray light it up off tackle ... it's actually a better game than the Oilers/Habs ... have to take these guys tonight ... Cheers.

That's twice that Parenteau has made a pass to one of our guys that's turned out very badly. Weird. Then it ends up being a 4 on 3 cause two of our forwards, Parenteau an Galchy didn't get back fast enough. Maybe they were caught too deep. Beaulieu lost his balance part way back, but seemed to recover.

Therrien should increase Galchy's ice time. He's by far our best player tonight.

that is one ugly looking power play. can I start ragging on the coach again? well, one easy move is to put Galchy on the first PP. Iwouldn't put Parenteau out there tonight, as he can't buy a good play, but Galchy and Pleks,or put Galchy out with DD and Patches, but get Galchy out there a lot more. Double shift him in fact.

We are not geting any respect. Before the first period, the talking heads said the we have 7 wins but the record is not a reflection of the play.
So what are they going to do about it?

The Rags/Minny highlights are complete proof that Chris Kreider and John Moore are dangerous players who should receive lengthy suspensions. Kreider took out a Minny dman and Moor elbowed Haula and got a 5 minute major and game. Haula did not come back. Rangers did, though, down 4 goals and win 5-4 after they decimated the Minny line-up. Remind you of anything? I think Vigneaul should get a stiff fine too, as he can't control his players, or doesn't want to.

Lets see if we can ramp it up. so far we've let Pouliot beat us.

Iffy call on Emelin. Hendricks was leaning over so far that DD's elbow would have been face height on Hendricks. I thought it was a good, hard hit. Just watch Pouliot. NO one else is going to beat us.

Bourque once again has no idea where the puck is after it bounces around. You really wonder about his eyesight.
