Word was that a number of very hung over Jets players could be seen walking the dawn lit streets of Montreal. That is, no excuses for this one.

I can't get the game out in BC. RDS is blacked out. Oh well, at least the Raptors are on.

There's no reason for dman having shots blocked at the regularity that our Defense does .... it doesn't matter how it gets to the net, slap wrist, snap, ... Just make sure it gets through.

Both teams guilty of missing the net on glorious opportunities.

Again, Skilly!
Carey bails out Markov after his shot is blocked leading to a breakaway.

So there's the first minute of the PP burned.
Who do you think starts the second period to finish off the PP?

OUr best lines tonight have been Pleks and Eller. Everyone agree? So who starts the PP every time. That's a coach who is determined to make his way work. What are we now? 4, 5 months of poor PP performance (excluding the summer non playing months) at least. Skilly would know for sure. The guy frustrates me, when there are some obvious things he can try. Do we have to get down to 2% or 3% before he does something meaningful?
We're playing ok overall, but Winnipeg has definitely had the better chances. A couple of posts and more cycling time in our end.
That Sekac is one smart player. I often see him one or two steps ahead of the other team, especially defensively. He seems to go where the next pass is going. Unlike Parenteau, who ticked me off on one play. OUr PP, the puck is shot in, Patches takes away the option of the dman going behind the net, Parenteau is rushing in, and instead of forcing the dman into Patches, he takes the net side and the dman turns into the open corner and moves the puck easily. He's not normally that dumb, but that was a unthinking play.
Weaver is looking irascable, I love it.
I found a stream without too many pop up 'gambling and house of ill repute' windows.

The issue is patches is on the half board. He can't pass, that's where DD needs to be. Parenteau along the goal line and patches in the slot. Its not rocket science MT....

How long before Subban finds his game?
I know he's a main STOP for the opposition....but something's not clicking. Unforced errors....bad decisions.
I don't buy the "contract cruise control" argument with him. He has too much pride in his game....but where is that game?

Smarts has nothing to do with it. Arrogance, yes. He's going to keep sending them out until it works, even if it takes, 4 or 5 seasons.
