Twitterverse is all over the Habs working on a deal for Eberle or Kessel. I think they're carrying a rumour that started from Bryan Wilde, CTV reporter covering Habs. He's not exactly in the know. We'll see I guess. ... Re Flynn. Many a Sabres fans on HF were fans of him. Hard worker, energy guy. If he plays 4th line he can add a touch of offense to the line. As was stated above, when you can play on a team that bad and only be -3 you're doing some things right. He could be the type of add that sneaks in a key playoff goal here and there. |

Wings get Zidlicky from Devils for 3rd next year. Talk was Wings were deep in talks about Phaneuf. Nixes that talk with the Leafs for now.
2nd rounder if the Wings reach the final.

It would be a great place for him IMO. His style of play should be a good fit. Puck mover. Skill guy. Lots of fast forwards there to feed break out passes to. |

The Rangers and the Lightning are the main hurdles we must pass. We match up well with them but they are as fast as we are. Wings, Isles, Pens, Caps, Bruins...Price and co can beat these guys. |

On paper, the NY defense is pretty good. But that's why we play the games, huh? As a guy who loves to pick apart the opposition, if we can take away just a little bit of space and time from what they're used to, let's see if they can adjust. On the pessimistic side, the Rags are concerned about Boyle, which is why they went for Yandle. Klein's having a career year. Can he keep it up in the playoffs? Nine goals this year and 18 total in the previous 7 full time seasons. How do you spell "unsustainable"? McDonagh...injured this year, maybe yet again? Yandle...a defensive adventure. See? I can reduce the expectations of that defense quickly and easily ;  . They're a good defense and will prove a challenge, but if you have to go through them, then stoke the engine. |

Nice move for Petry. I'm hoping he re-signs with the Habs in the off season. The money and term he's rumoured to be asking for is not excessive. Now, if MB can find us a scoring winger, I'll drink the kool-aid.

All TSN needs is a bad rep with the Leafs. The circus just gets bigger.
