I'd start the period with our 2nd PP unit, with Petry and Beaulieu on point.

Didn't look good, which is dumbfounding .... Cause it looked lethal in the second period.
It's like they were staying to the outside , killing 2 minutes

Good on the CBC crew for pointing out the weak call on Emelin.

That's 4 straight faceoffs we've lost on this PP.

And what's with Galchenyuk not being able to get his shot off all night

Hammond gets caught napping a bit on that one.
Way to go, Galchy!

I really do not understand DSP on the PP To create a presence in the crease I'd say. He was taking a mugging at the end of the 3rd that would have drawn a penalty under normal circumstances.

Series is far from over. Sens are coming on, and Ottawa will likely win Game 3.

A massive victory.
I imagine Hammond is not to start game 3.

Hammond gets caught napping a bit on that one. Way to go, Galchy! Of the 7 goals scored on him I'd say he should have stopped 5 of those. He's an AHL goalie.

He's been more of a factor in these last two games than Sekac ever was. I hope so. I'll give you he is built for a series against Ottawa and Boston type teams ... Which we need. I just hope in a series where it's wide open (Tampa or Detroit) he isn't a liability

He's been more of a factor in these last two games than Sekac ever was. Tough to say. Sekac actually picked up a point here and there. Spelly has had some terrific chances and really looks like he freezes when an opportunity arises. the only way he'll score in future is if he just throws things at the net and hopes it hits something and goes in. That chance he had in the 2nd was gift wrapped. Just pass it into the corner and its a goal. But he's like me. Everything tightens up when a good chance happens. I'm the best at hitting goalies. Spelly's a close second. He hits and finished his checks, just doesn't know what to do when he has to use the puck.

He's a straight line guy. He's also young. Just imagine if he gets over the yips. Exactly what this team needs. It's why MB got him.
Sekac isn't even dressing.

On Subban's goal, there's no way any of our left-handed forwards would have corralled that puck before dishing it towards Subban.

I imagine Hammond is not to start game 3. I'd be surprised to see Anderson in. Hammond hasn't been stellar, but neither has Price been. too close, no blow-outs. Anderson hasn't played, and when he did he was only mediocre. I be surprised, but happy! if the Sens lose game 3 he'll be in for game 4; if the Sens win he won't be.

He threw it to the open space off the boards and Subban got yo it to blast it. A direct pass to Subban was available

It looked deflected right off his stick Yup. I think it was MacArthur. I looked again & to me it was close but I couldn't see a deflection. In any case, doesn't matter. What I did see was just before the goal was a brutal give away by Gryba. Had possession and gave it up easily. Hope he stays in the lineup - he's been awful.
