Charged with misdemeanor assault on his wife and interfering with emergency communications. He took phone from wife while she was on with 911. Incidents took place in their home in NC. He's been pulled from on-air duties until things are resolved.

Crap. I hate it when a guy I like gets in trouble No excuse, though. We'll have to get the whole story but it doesn't sound good.

I'm not sure which is worse, the fight with his wife that turned physical or trying to stop her from calling 911. In life, like in sport, sometimes the hardest thing to do is walk away. If he could do the night over again, I imagine he'd have picked up his keys and just gotten out of the house for a while.
