A team in Quebec City would dilute support for the Hab's. They would still sell out but have fewer fans wearing caps and jerseys and watching on tv. $500,000,000.00 is a lot of zeros. As far as tv revenue, I've stopped buying the center ice package because the games are on the Internet for free. TV economics are about to take a bath g hit. A team in Quebec City would force the Habs to compete harder to keep support. It would not look good losing a top player to Quebec City. Bergevin won't be able to wax and wane about how hard trades are to make anymore ... The way to get the message to Molson to force change is to stop ordering seven dollar chien chauds at the Keg and stop drinking Molson's. Nobody wants to lose their seasons tickets and they will continue buying them. Molson's sales are far more important than ticket sales. We already are embarrassed by all the teams beating us. When we lose to Toronna it will be worse than losing to two Florida teams or a Quebec team. I really believe that Molson wants a winning team and will pay whatever is necessary to get there. He needs to be reminded that we, the fans have lost our patience. I don't want to see my beloved bleu blanc rouge hurt. I want to see them win. There is no way that Bergevin is executive of the year or Therrien is a better coach than Boudreau. If the management team wont make things better the owner has to. Maybe he just needs some encouragement to act. Hard to put the blame for a terrible terrible season on Price. His absence may have made things more difficult but the first to last drop is unacceptable.

I'm in Vegas every year in early February for a week. Hopefully that's when the Habs are too.

We were there last fall for a week ... we're looking for a snowbird destination to go to in the next few years and having an NHL team in place makes it a tad more attractive ... just have to convince Mrs Dis this would be the place ... providing ticket prices are reasonable, I'd be at the games and she'd be on Fremont St ... Cheers.

Possible team names?
The Las Vegas:
Mob Addiction Jackpot Fortunes Black Jacks Aces (obvious headlines when they're playing the Kings…)
