What I found most fascinating about the last two games is that I didn't watch even a minute of them. I chose to watch a Hab preseason game over a WC final game. I'm not sure what that means.

I watched game one during intermissions of the Habs games. Game 2 I didn't tune in until after the Habs were done.

And we're passionate hockey fans, blny. I usually don't miss any of the 'big' games. This tournament was over for me after NA got eliminated. I didn't care who won after that.

It was a best on best tourney, with all the top players (less a few injured) and was promoted like heck by the league and Sportsnet/CBC, but it still lacked any real zinger appeal to me. Once I saw that Carey Price looked healthy again, most of the mystery was over for me and I was more interested in Habs training camp battles. That is now a 16-0 winning streak in a Team Canada jersey for Carey since being drafted. Not bad at all. www.wch2016.com/news/carey-price-win-streak-hits-sweet-16/c-282267318?tid=281230894

I was at a meeting last night and a friend tweeted me "that it seems you only have to play 3 minutes to win a game". I had no idea what he was talking about. Thought maybe the Canucks (he's a Nuck fan) were playing a preaseason game. I think Bettman lost his leverage with the IOC big time with the tournament. I bet the ratings weren't good at all.

I wanted to see that Price was ok and got a bit of a read on Weber. Once that was done, so was I.

I don't know if this has been posted before but if not it's worth a read:
"He gives our group confidence and an aura of calm like no one I have been around," Babcock said.
Maybe drives home the influence Price has on the entire team & beyond his goal tending per se.
Cheers
