Nice find Willie. This aligns somewhat with the draft strategy thread I started here. We're talking about the idea of looking at over age players in a weak draft year. Tyler definitely had a huge bump in production this year. I haven't been able to find a decent scouting report on him. As a 20-something he can be signed as a free agent. If he can skate, it might be worth a look.

Pittsburgh took Zach A-R off the market today. Boland should be available shortly as his season is almost over. It will be interesting to see if Berg finds any FA gems. The biggest Habs' target likely still plays in the KHL.

With Simon Bourque and the Sea Dogs sweeping Rimouski, Boland is now officially a free agent. There is chatter that the Habs are still very much in the mix. Simon Bourque was the captain of Rimouski before he was traded to Saint John at the trade deadline, so no doubt the Habs have watched a lot of Boland's games while keeping an eye on Bourque. The Newfoundland connection may be a nice bonus if the young man can get some early pro exposure on an ATO with the IceCaps down the stretch (and hopefully into the playoffs).
They look like they want to be teammates again...just sayin'.

When you can pot more than 100 points on a team where your nearest is 76 points and then 45, you know you're driving play. 6' and 180 is something to work with.
