According to Arpon Basu, the lines for tonight:
Pacioretty - Drouin - Gallagher Hudon - Plekanec - Lehkonen Galchenyuk - Danault - Shaw Byron - De la Rose - Hemsky
Mete - Weber Alzner - Petry Streit - Benn
Goalie to be determined
(haha, just kidding!)

Streit appears to be the weak link, but they should be able to roll four lines. No real tough guys or bangers out there, but that fourth line could get some favourable match ups against their fourth line tonight. I hear a lot of the guys saying they can score from any of their four lines. Looks like it on paper, but we will see on the ice.
Schlemko practiced with the team today, so that is some progress.
Go Habs Go. Drop the puck already!!

Just an FYI, NHL Center Ice is having a "free view" from now until early next week. I believe most Canadian carriers will be showing it for free (I'll be getting it on Bell Fibe).

Slick pass from Drouin to Max for the 1-1 goal.
Lehner's been his usual self against us.

Galchenyuk needs to stop thinking that he has to make a play every time he has the puck, particularly on offense. I know he's not a "chip and chase" kind of guy, but I would like to see him at least get the puck in deep and go after it, so he would be in a better position to make plays.

Got Eichel-ed on that one. Nice cross ice to Pominville for his second.
Gotta hit at least the 3-goal mark in this one.

Weber has no foot speed.

The forward group looks all right. Good transitioning. Our defense is going to be frustrating to watch all year.

The PP showing some creativity, but not many shot attempts.

Weber on pace for 28+ minutes.
Around 9:00 split on both special teams so far.
Can't have that kind of ice happen on a regular basis....or is that what Julien will do? Play him a la Chara?

He's already getting tired. He couldn't finish his check and a Sabre squeezed by him on the right...then he failed to clear the puck up the right wing, had it come back, and failed on a backhand pass around the boards, turning it over. Then there was the giveaway behind the net, all in about 3 minutes. Carey is earning his salary.

On their heels to start the third. The defense is getting eaten alive.

Refs in midseason form. How is that a call on Shaw?

Crafty move by Danault! Found the only open space as Lehner had the pad over to the post.
2-2. Shortie.

Three times Pacioretty , Drouin and Galchenyuk make a perfect zone entry on the PP, three times they pass it to Gallagher, three times he misplayed it ...what is he doing out on a PP with four forwards?

Should have been a penalty shot there ...you are not going to convince me that Scandella didn't knock the net off on purpose
