Here are the final stats for our rookies. Looks like D'Agostini led the boys with 5 goals and Aubin and Kosty junior with 8 points. Too bad about losing the final game to the Leafs, but it is all about evaluating talent and the Leafs team was at least a year older on average and had more pro experience (compared to only Chipper's 8 games at the end of last season). Not that bad a performance all things considering. Maybe losing two close ones to Pogge in this tourney after losing out that starting spot at last year's WJC will light a fire under Price's butt this season. Anyway, a number of these kids will be staying in Montreal for the main camp that starts this Thursday. Good luck to them wherever they end up this season. www.canadiens.com/eng/news/redirect.cfm?sectionID=habsNewsDetails.cfm&newsItemID=5154

Saw some highlights. Price was in goal. Naturally since it was the Toronto sports network we only got to see one Habs goal (D'Agostini's) and all 3 Leaf goals. Price looked so-so on them, including one through the 5-hole that I didn't like. What the heck, I don't like him period, so don't judge him by my comments. Sure hope we trade him soon, though, before his market value goes below Ribs'.

nice to see maxwell with 3 goals in 4 games, he's one of those deceptive guys that just seem to always be in the right spot and getting points. looking forward to keeping a better eye on him in the dub this season.

Price looked waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay out of position on the first goal.
I just don't know about him.
Brule's looking mighty good right about now.

So he's to be our Grant Fuhr, in that he won't be completely consistent but he'll keep us in the game? Theodore looked pretty good in some 1 goal losses this season too. Trouble was the 2 softies that got by him just about every game.

From everyone's perspective, Price is being more like a Montoya than a Ward.

i feel sorry for price already, talk about being under the microscope! does he have a chance at all, i say you can't really evaluate a goalie until he's in his early to mid 20's. which is why i don't believe its smart to pick goalies in the 1st round. i really hope bo proves me wrong on this one though.
