the "blue boxes" are all part of the/owned by postmedia, a more conservative rag (although many conservative people think that many of the beat reporters (such as Ivison)are pro-liberal and that postmedia as well as every other media outlet in Canada has been bought off by the Liberals with their "save the newspaper" fund.
the Star, of course, is a left-wing darling that wants to make Canada explicitly socialist (lol). oh, and so is the CBC, of course . . . right in Trudeau's pocket.
I must say, I'm surprised by the Globe.
anyway, endorsement/enshmorshment . . . who says "oh, the newspaper says I should vote this way, I think I will?" the columns may influence, but unfortunately (no matter how much better Canadians seems too think they are than Americans), personality and popularity play into the election, not so much policy.

It's funny . . . the Star says "The election campaign that ends on Monday — a $610-million distraction in the middle of the worst public health crisis in a century," then endorses him.
can we have a do-over with some new leaders please? and maybe some new ideas?

Soooo....will you vote for me? You read the latest $400 million to the CBC? He doesn't want the news to be interrupted by commercials so he's giving them $400 million to be.....ad free. When I read that I thought it was some kind of Onion piece, but nope, can't have the CBC actually make a good product and sell it, just live off the taxpayer and make any crap they want. This has gone past pathetic and well into the realm of "I can do whatever I want and you can't stop me".
