Sullivan might want to consider sitting Jack Johnson. -4 so far in this series and -5 in the two losses. The Habs are eating him up.

Has it really come to this? Giving advice to the opposite coach so they can win?
Honestly....in all my life, i never wanted the team to lose. Not once, not ever.....but can they please lose the next two games.
If the Hockey Gods punish me with a bout of diarrhea, that is a small price to pay....

I am not 100 percent sure if Sullivan is planning to trust his vets and rubber stamp the same lineup, though I sort of imagine that to be the case. Johnson and Schultz have been a brutal pairing, worse even than Mete and Ouellet. The Penguins' third line is pretty dreadful. Marleau probably stays in the lineup because he is a bud of Lemieux but man after a long great career he has really fell off the cliff. I would not want him on the Habs for the NHL minimum.

I am pretty pumped about tonight. Chance for our first playoff appearance in 3 years. Pitt looked pretty deflated with our comeback in last game.

4-1 Habs. Tatar with two, Drouin gets another, Danault with the empty netter. Price makes 38 saves.

Sullivan might want to consider sitting Jack Johnson. -4 so far in this series and -5 in the two losses. The Habs are eating him up. Murray and Johnson have not been good enough. And how about Gino with just one assist? He and his line are not eating our guys up as advertised. Weber and Chairot have been very effective in shutting them down. Pittsburgh had one of the best transition rush defences this season...really? Our guys have had success against them so far. And this is without Tatar and Gally lighting the lamp as per usual. That being said, do we really need to see another game with Weise in the lineup? The 2020 Weise is not the 2015 Weise. And we are watching Suzuki and KK growing with this experience. Heck, Claude even moved Danault down to 3C last game. Have we not all been hoping to see the emergence of the young kids gaining real development experience and being trusted by our old school coach? Throw in Poehling and see how hungry he is. Dale is an awesome dude from all accounts, but he is not the future of this team.

Poehling is behind Belzile on the depth chart? Who the (****) is Belzile? Yes yes, I know who he is. But his first NHL game , in the playoffs, over Poehling ... really???

CH, I think the Habs would pick at #16 unless they made it all the way to the Conference Finals (#28) or the Stanley Cup Finals (#30 or #31). So there really would not be any downside to wanting the boys to keep winning once they get by Pittsburgh.
Belzile, eh? Well, he is a nice story. Poehling must be in Julien's doghouse if the coaches think a 28 year old will make his NHL debut ahead of a 21 year old former first round pick.
Jarry in net is an interesting development. It would be nice to pot one early to get him thinking. I have a feeling the refs may generate two or three first period power plays for the Penguins. Jeje, Bettman is not going to happy if Crosby and McDavid are not part of this Aug.-Oct. made for TV event.

Bettman’s marketing nightmare. And two throw in teams that had no right playing post season hockey could be advancing. Six games on today. I will be lucky to catch one. Okay, I will watch one!

Suze 1st line centre and dano on the 3rd... shocking
Imagine Caufield in place of Sir floats-a-lot...
I wonder if Kulak play has allowed Petry to be more aggressive offensively...

Suzuki and KK as your top two centres. Hard to imagine. Claude has Suzuki against Sid and Danault against Malkin with the last change when he can. Tonight, I don’t want more cowbell, I want more Weise.

Not much action let alone danger, Hornqvist looks kind of involved, rifling one off the crossbar. Crosby and Malkin are being neutralized.
The Habs power play was a sad sight, but we are all used to that. Montreal is not going to win this one with the power play; however, it could be lost if Pittsburgh gets to test the Habs' penalty kill.
