I believe the Flyers will come out with real intensity and jam. Guys are going to finish their checks and Price is going to see more traffic in the crease. But, while Philly is a big team, they are not full of guys who love the tough stuff. The Flyers, like the Habs, are bottom third in the league in penalty minutes and fighting majors.
Don’t get me wrong, I would love to have a couple of sheriff’s deputies among the forward group to help Weber and Chiarot keep the peace if any trouble breaks out. But honestly I do not think the Flyers are plotting how to intimidate the Habs because that is not really their game.

If I'm the Flyers I'm looking at this game as a reckoning ... if the guys come out the way they did in Game 2, they'll be alright ... this might be the most pivotal game of the series ...
Cheers.

Imagine Flyers come out storming. After way they were embarrassed last game. Hopefully, Carey Price can weather the storm for first 10-12 or 15 minutes. After that emotion be burning off and they will be wearing down. Keep us in it. If we are close can turn it around late first period. Rest of game should be ours.

Ideally we hold them off in the 1st, score a late period goal, deflate them and own them in the 2nd and 3rd

Vigneault is a good coach and they are still a good team. They will adjust and rebound. This is not going to be an easy one.
The pessimist in me is expecting a blowout. We might even see Lindgren today, though of course I hope not. I think our best chance will be to get a quick and/or flukey one on Hart. Maybe get into his head. These are his first playoff games after all (but he doesn't strike me as someone who is mentally weak).

They saw Careys reaction when oulette crashed the flyer into Carey, within the 1st 5 minutes a flyer will be in Careys net...

The Flyers picked up where they left off prior to the pandemic ... they've been playing excellent hockey and maybe they were due for a stinker, dunno ... I agree with GNick in that, the Flyers will come out storming ... weathering that storm might be easier said that done, and a lot of it will probably depend on Carey Price ... if they do survive that, then they'll have a good chance at winning the game, IMHO ... Or, maybe one of the Bruise Brothers knocks a Flyer into orbit that tilts the ice in Montreal's favour ... as you said, "this is not going to be an easy one" ... Cheers.

This is a pivotal game.
Win this one and we are in control more then the 2-1 lead.
Lose this and it will give them life to wipe the floor with us.
Boys need to choose how hard they want to play to control their destiny....

If that stays the same, I can't see the Flyers doing any better.

I am assuming that Muller is icing the same lineup as Friday afternoon -- el equipo que gana no se toca.
Jeje, let us hope the Habs in the Toronto bubble are a better home team than they were in Montreal this season. Honestly, if I were Muller, I would not overdo it with playing match-up chess at each whistle. The last change is a nice card to play in key situations, but chasing match-ups from the opening whistle does not appeal to me. Montreal's centres are all playing pretty well right now and I would rather see the best 9 or 10 forwards get more or less equal ice time at 5 v 5.
I can understand selectively keeping Mete and Ouellet away from the best Flyers' forwards. Ouellet needs to drink a couple protein shakes and get ready to clear the frickin crease.

Chiarot lost position to Voracek. I am not sure who was responsible for giving Giroux so much time and space. Byron was the right wing, so I guess it must have some kind of confusion between him and Weber.

First blood Philly. Get back on your horse boys. The Flyers look a lot more structured than they did in Game 2 ... they're taking away more time and space from the Habs and it's working out well for the time being ... not sure what level the officials will be calling ... they've let a lot go already, and we're just past the 8-minute mark ... and look at this ... two posts just like that ... Cheers.

Garbage penalty call on Petry.

Yeah, that was kind of soft. Petry did not exactly seek him out and frankly Hayes was coasting aimlessly, he was not even forechecking hard.
A couple of posts and plenty of good penalty kills, but that was about it for the Habs highlights in the first period. The first pass out of the zone has been trickier tonight. Philly forced some icings and turnovers.

Spent most of that period in the sin-bin. Hard to generate any momentum when you are constantly down a man
Gotta be more disciplined. And got to stop second guessing when you shoot ir pass

If Kelly Hrudey thinks Price is good at playing the puck, then he has to watch more Habs games , and not just the Flames - Habs games. Price is good for 2 giveaways a game

If you’re wondering how Domi and Drouin are playing so much better, I propose that you could put a Brussel sprout and a Cabbage on Kotkaniemi’s wings and they’d look good.
Man, is he a beast.
