I mean... how is this something that keeps happening? I get that everyone is checked out, but come on... as a fan it's infuriating to see absolutely no meltdown from the coach, players, any one... I can take losing, enjoy a tank.... but apathy while cashing in massive pay cheques while people are literally unable to buy a home because of greed... ugh.  Particularly offensive was watching all the vets in the press box as if they were in a VIP booth at Wimbledon. And for no one to take on Kassian right after his cheap shot was pathetic . I can understand it maybe if it's a close game and you need the points but in this situation when you got nothing to lose you got to respond and let the opponent know we may not have the talent you have but we sure as heck aren't going to be pushed around. And if you don't have anyone to take on Kassian, then you run their goalie. We got nothing to lose and the Oil should know not to be taking liberties. But I guess they know we got no heart, no will, and no spirit. This is so hard to watch. NHL will invoke a rule that when you're as bad as the Habs you get the 1st and 2nd pick in the draft. |

Why is anyone surprised that the guys don't give a damn? I'm too lazy to look it up but I said from the beginning of the losing streak that it will never get better and Ducharme will lose the room.
Now it's what? A surprise? Of course the default position is to blame Ducharme like he's going to instill the winning attitude with 2nd, 3rd and 4th rate goaltenders....
It's all good as long as Price is jousting with his demons in the dark place.....because you know, he's the only thing that counts.
I'm tuned out and don't give a flying puck until they get a real goaltender.....

Why is anyone surprised that the guys don't give a damn? I'm too lazy to look it up but I said from the beginning of the losing streak that it will never get better and Ducharme will lose the room. Now it's what? A surprise? Of course the default position is to blame Ducharme like he's going to instill the winning attitude with 2nd, 3rd and 4th rate goaltenders.... It's all good as long as Price is jousting with his demons in the dark place.....because you know, he's the only thing that counts. How does one recover from losing the room so egregiously? I liked him when he got promoted, but after a year I have to admit I don't really get what the big deal was. Guy has zero emotion, zero smarts and is just OK with losing. This is not who I want as the guy in charge, and the longer he's there the more this... OK with being lazy sets in. It's going to and probably already has ruined so many players for us. He needs to go, no tank is worth this. |

Dom will not be the coach next year. He has not shown the ability to coach in the NHL, and yes that includes the Cup run last year. In fact I would argue the Boys won in spite of Dom. See winning when Dom had Covid. The streak was all about Carey and Shea, and everyone joining in, and a whole lot of luck (Tavares, Scheiffle, and Fleury's gift).
And management will want their own guy behind the bench for the fresh start and leave MB's sh!tshow behind.
