Im still wondering if there could be interest in Jake Allen. The Oilers could sure use him. I think they will make an offer. Whether it meets Hughes’ price point ( he is not trading a goalie after all 😉), we will find out by Monday. |

With Giroux going to Florida, Colorado needs to do something. Maybe we can trade them Drouin or Hoffman. Avs need another goalie and to solidify the bottom 6. Allen and Lehkonen would really improve them. Without too much CAP issues and with control. How about those 2 and Calgary’s pick for Byram and Barron. We can throw in Drouin and retain salary. Expensive for the Avs but it shores up two weaknesses. Drouin hasn’t been that bad in the playoffs. |

With Caufield's goal, he moved past Mark Hunter, Guilliame Latendresse, Claude Provost and Tomas Plekanec (all who had 29 points) and became the 55th Hab to score at least 30 points as a rookie
He is the 848th leading rookie scorer in NHL history so far .... (from the most obscure of stats!)
He is currently the 50th highest scoring Hab rookie all time.
