Lechy is the perfect playoff player. Works hard, forechecks, backchecks hard and chips in with some timely goals. Loved him as a Hab and I am happy for him. He deserved it. Congrats.

I have to wonder if this is the highlight of Lehkonen's career, and that it's downhill fast from here. If he signs for big money, suddenly his 20 game spurts without a goal will be harder to forgive through hard work and good defensive play.
If he gets a 6x4.5M contract, I think the team might regret it before halfway, and he'll soon be seen as "deadwood" by fans.

He turns 27 this year, 33 is not too old for the type of player lekhy is, he's got a real good head for the game... the fact Bednar put him with high end talent means there is a trust and understanding that lekhy is there to free the others up to be more offensive, the fact he chipped in a conference and a cup winning goal doesnt hurt
