In a lost season, it is curious that Allen is making his fourth start of the week.
I am glad to see Pezzetta back in there because some the Leafs scrubs (Holl, Engvall, Blackwell) like to pose as being chippy.
I saw some of the boys (including Petry and Price) were taking in the Jays game. That is kind of cool.

I would have given Allen the night off against Jersey. I agree with tour sentiment, what's the harm starting Montembault now.
When the Leafs tanked to get Matthws they had a secret weapon - Jonathan Bernier. He allowed some epically bad goals that season.

Jeje, the 27 year old rookie strikes again. Bunting plays hard but he is a rat lite. He should certainly avoid fighting (as does the head rat Marchand) because if pint-sized Wideman gets the better of you, it kind of says something.
I feel for Montembeault. The boys are doing some stupid things with the puck, but thankfully it is not St. Louis' nature to bench a guy like Pitlick for a bone-headed play.

I love it when we score late in the period against the Leafs the building gets quiet, leaf fans get nervous, their players hold their stick a bit tighter and one of then coughs it up in their zone and we score a goal to go to OT

They just basically killed 45 secs of the game , by lolly gagging on the delayed penalty call. Give them the puck , get the face off in their end and you'll hopefully control the puck in their zone when the penalty ends
