I like my defenseman, actually the ENTIRE team to have a few lose screws.
With someone like Hutson coming into view, X, Guhle, Mailloux can take all the heads...err...penalties they want if anyone touches our players.

Engström and Rögle advanced to the SHL quarters with their play in series win against Leksand/Heineman. They will be the lower seed in any matches going forward. They are up against top seed in this new series and Engström is doing his part with this beauty.
They did start off well though, winning game one today 3-2.

Beck with a goal and an assist in a 5-3 loss to North Bay last night. He now has 8 points in six games while on a quiet 6 game points streak.
Croteau had a good game in the USHL. He stopped 42 shots in a 3-2 shootout win over Fargo.

On Wednesday night, Guindon hit the 20 goal mark with the GWG, an assist, and the first star in a 4-3 win over Flint.

Roy and Kidney both had a pair of assists in big wins. Beck kept his points streak going to 7 games with an assist.
The big night was from Mailloux with a goal and two assists. Number 24 now has 24 goals on the season, tops for OHL defenders.

Roy Vs Kidney last night lived up to its billing as two of the Q’s best battled hard. Both had a goal and assist, but Roy gets the edge and first star as his goal was the OT GWG in the 4-3 win.

Yesterday’s recap.
Hutson scores (see above) and Tuch gets an assist as BU win and play in the regional final. One win away from the Frozen Four. Ditto for top seeded Minnesota and Pitlick had two helpers in the big blowout win.
Beck scored the only goal in a 4-1 loss against league leading Ottawa.

Farrell watch is about to hit high gear. Ohio State (Dobeš) are totally dismantling Harvard (Farrell) 7-0 after two periods. Harvard only have 8 shots in 40 minutes.
Harvard just cannot generate anything much and look really frustrated out there. Donato has to replace Gibson in net for the third just out of mercy.
