It is the fall international break week where players go from league play to various international short tourneys.

Kapanen had an assist as the Finnish U20 beat Czechia U19 team 8-2.

Engström did not have a point in Sweden’s 4-3 win over Czechia U20 team at the same junior event in Czechia. However, he was on the top pairing which gives you an indication of his standing with the national junior team staff.

Dichow was the backup today as Germany beat Denmark 3-2 in OT at a men’s event, the Germany Cup.

Two constants in the nation’s capital these days: Rohrer gets points and the 67s win hockey games. Rohrer had a 1+1 night for 19 points in 15 games and is on a 7 game point streak. The 67s are now an eye-popping 14-1 on the season.

Hutson and Tuch both had two assists as BU beat up UMass 7-2 last night.

Mailloux had an assist in London’s OT win last night. Roy had an assist. And Davidson is on fire out west. A goal and two assists for 22 points in 11 games. He is #29 in white and this is a sweet backhand pass.

A big head to head matchup in U20 play in Czechia with rivals 🇫🇮 and 🇸🇪 going up against each other. Oliver Kapanen was the 1C and Adam Engström was on the top pairing, so both were in prominent roles for their respective teams. It was Finland’s day though as they won 6-1 and Kapanen has one of the goals.

Rohrer’s assist here is all hard work. Game is underway and in the second period. Will update if he gets any more points. He ended up with two assists in the 67s win.

It probably is. Lots going on across the prospect spectrum with so many of the kids having good seasons or having some impact for their teams.

I missed out on some Saturday night performances. Farrell lead the way with two goals and an assist as Harvard is off to a great start to their season. Guindon followed suit with an identical two goals and an assist night and Austrian buzzbomb Rohrer had two assists.

Ottawa 67s are now a mind boggling 16-1 after a 7-1 whooping of Kingston today in front of over 13,000 at the Canadian Tire Centre early today in the school kids special early start. Rohrer with two more assists in the win.

Speaking of good starts, Harvard are now 7-0 after a 3-1 win tonight. Some guy named Farrell lead the way with a goal and two assists.

I wonder if hockeydb has updated their numbers. They're showing Farrell at 7 points in 6 games, exactly the same pace as last year. Ten points in 7 games would look nicer.

Kapanen did play very well at the recent U20 event in Czechia with his three goals in three games as Finland’s 1C. He followed it up with a goal in his Liiga game with KalPa yesterday.

Looks like Heineman will finally see action soon. He has been back in Sweden rehabbing with his SHL team.

Beck got #14 of the year in a 7-3 loss last night. They were able to raise $5000 for cancer in those unique jerseys.

Some fun news from Sweden for a few prospects. Engström was back with his J20 club team last night and had a goal and three assists as he and Rögle ran away with things in a 8-2 win. Getting warmed up for the world junior team.

Heineman will make his debut in short order on the second line for Leksand in the SHL. He has not played for a while, so hopefully he can shake off the rust quickly.
