I've seen that count when the puck enters immediately after the net is dislodged, but not that long after. If the net wasn't dislodged, there would be a player in there plus the goalie and that puck doesn't cross the line.

I knowca young guy who tried to make a career of hockey officiating. He gave it up because moving up the ladder was more dependent on who you knew rather than merit. This guy would get the games requiring the worst travel and rarely be chosen for higher profile games. I watched him ref a Jr B game and he handled it well so it wasn’t talent holding him back.

Extrapolate that and you can see why some officials never manage games well. How did two officials we know well get to the NHL? Probably not because of good reports.

I like Math's skating and his play in the O zone. But man he is a liability in our zone with terrible passes and a consistent inability to clear the zone. I sure hope he is really, extremely rusty, like a lot. Cause my heart won't be able to take much more of him in our end.

Really like how Dach handles the rough stuff. He ain't no Drouin. Same on the point on the PP. He is always a presence out there, with his skill and his size.

Now if we can just get Hoff off the PP. Why is Hoff getting all these touches on the half wall. The guy is a turn over machine and terrible passer. Suze should be on the half wall, Dach on the point and Cole on the other half wall. I'd have Gally, or Monahan in front of the net and Slafs roaming around.

When I heard them say Hoff wasn't on the bench and there being no reason for an injury - he hasn't had contact with anyone in years, I was hoping he had been traded. Then I heard he had returned to the bench - damn. Then I heard he was on the end of the bench and not playing. I figured he might be hanging around for the potential shoot out. And then Dvo gets the nod. So I'm very confused. But not close to as confused as Hoff is when he's on the PP.
