Couple of nice plays by Wifi there. Hoffman sent a hard pass over from the right side near the blue line (keeping the puck in the zone) while Wifi was skating toward his end because he'd gone deeper to take a shot. He corralled the puck with one hand on the stick at the blue line and whirled around, while maintaining control and sent a quick pass back to Hoffman near the top of the circle for a one timer. Really difficult stuff. He is so much more than a tough guy.

Harris has a lot of nice attributes. But, man, there is no denying he is undersized. He just got boxed out by a bigger opponent like it was nothing and it turns into a gift goal for Detroit.

How can you score on the pp if no one stands in front if the net

That 4th line is killing Detroit. RHP ties it.

I came in late. Did I see Copp swimming on the ice with Dach standing over him? Did Copp slip, or Dach nail him?

We talk about how many 1st shots go in on Allen but I'd like to know how many plays die of Hoffmans stick in a single game Ha! They don't die on his stick. Talk to our opponent. That's where their counter attack starts.

Man o man is Dach strong... he just went body on body with Seider and maintained puck control That's one difference, IMO, between Chicago Dach and Montreal Dach. Dach is considerably stronger that he was. It might be natural growth or maybe Adam Nicolas is having an effect. That added strength gives Kirby more confidence about what he is capable of and can do. I'm thinking more and more that Getzlaff is a really good comparison. That level of points would be awesome.

Badly outshot and outchanced in this game, we don't need the points, time to give up the gwg

I can see it now in OT... Hoffman coughs up the puck and Savard falls down and the Wings win in OT... lol

Good thing the real Rem Pitlick showed up in OT... Tank Nation is pleased... if we didn't get the loser point Tank Nation would be thrilled

I came in late. Did I see Copp swimming on the ice with Dach standing over him? Did Copp slip, or Dach nail him? Even Jean Beliveau had a year where he had to prove his toughness. Don't want that happening much with Dach as the helmets in Jean's time were non existent. We need his hands in great shape.

It was an entertaining game to watch, which is always a positive. After the fact, I would rather not collect a loser point.
The Habs fourth line was phenomenal. It is nice to see guys like Harvey-Pinard, Belzile, and Pezzetta playing with a lot of cohesion, producing, and getting the gratification of seeing/hearing the fans rise from their seats to applaud their work.
Both goalies went from less to more.
I know Copp was trying to be a good mate by sticking up for whoever (?) Dach planted on his back end with a big hit earlier in the period, but man I would probably refrain from a center ice drop the mitts spectacle if I had Copp's fighting chops. The poor dude really embarrassed himself.

He seems to have developed some abrasiveness.

I'm loving this Laval Line and really hope Belsie can pot one. But is anyone else wanting to see HP Sauce play with Suze? Watching Pity play with Suze is pathetic, as was his break-away in OT.
I'm not happy with the point but Wings got the 2 they needed to fight Fla. When we got our PP in the last minute, I figured the game was ours and just prayed they wouldn't score until OT so Wings would get the point. Good they got 2. We need Fla to be sellers at the trade deadline.

Good thing the real Rem Pitlick showed up in OT... Tank Nation is pleased... if we didn't get the loser point Tank Nation would be thrilled As soon as Pitlick looked behind , I knew he was going to screw that breakaway up. Then he looked back again. He had two options there and he done neither 1) Just speed off on the breakaway and think about what’s in front of you, not what’s behind you. 2) the better option IMO. Recognize who you are on the ice with, drop that to Dach and go wide. Now the defense has to worry about 2 options, and the goalie is facing a 2 on 0 ….

Whew, thankfully, he did screw it up. Tough call. If the other Hab is catching up (which he wasn't) a 2 on none is a better play, but by the time he was able to work that out, he had lost some speed and was twixt and between. He wasn't greedy enough in that situation, as you point out. Hindsight is always easier though. I'll cut him some slack, especially since that extra point may be critical by season's end.
