it was an enjoyable game to watch with a good ending - Zero points. Sens are now only 3 points behind Fla with 2 games in hand. Go Sens - you ain't making any playoffs but keep climbing those standings to finish just outside a wild card birth.

I agree, big picture, Xman should have walloped Turtlechuk to show the coward he is. Who cares if we get 5 and lose the game. But I was impressed with Xman not falling for Tchuckies bait as many do. I suspect Xman said go ahead drop them and waited Tch to drop them, and not surprising Tch wanted no part of Xman.

Marty is clearly visiting Habsrus and reading my posts. I begged him to free Suze from Pity as it was cruel to make Suze play with the useless Pity this long. I also posted that as much as I like the Laval line, HP Sauce should be given a chance with Suze. And VOILA!

Now if Hoff can have a few more games like that, some dumb gm may actually take Hoff off our hands before the deadline. But HuGo will need to have the poker face going and pretend we want something in return so we don't look too desperate to dump him and his ridiculous salary.

HP Sauce reminds me more of Marty's play than Cole does. And Marty was never drafted and HP came close to not being drafted - drafted in the 7th round, 201 overall. And Marty wasn't playing full time in the NHL until he was 24. HP is now 24! And they're both 5'8" from La Belle Province.

Will be interesting to see if Marty will embrace HP like he did/does Cole.

What bugged me at the end was Stutzle & Tkachuck combining then having to watch the showboating at the end. Neither of these guys have ever played a playoff game or even been a plus player over the course of a season.

Somebody should tell these dumbasses that they should you know, actually win something before they go around trying to show people up.

I guess when you have won nothing and are both known for either diving or turtle-ing, you celebrate when you beat an AHL roster. Good for them. They can call when they both grow a pair.

Tkajerk is such a puss cakes... just watched the clip with him and Arber... Feb 25th will be interesting, unfortunately I won't get to see it. Of course the Hens get the habs on the 2nd of a back to back where game 1 is in Philly.

He was indeed and hasn't panned out as they hoped. They should have gone for Vegas' second best defense prospect.

I don't know enough about Harvey-Pinard (other than what hockeydb.com tells me), but that breakaway goal he scored the game before (I think) where he had a guy partially on him and he back handed it into the top corner, was elite goal scoring.

HP's juniour stats don't scream "NHL player". He was not much over a point per game and his scoring plateaued his last 3 juniour seasons. Even his Laval work is inconsistent. .56 ppg his first season; .81 ppg his second season, a nice jump; then back to .68 ppg this season. Injuries may have played a part there. Some of you other guys who pay more attention to all the Laval players would have better background on him. Overall, those aren't the kind of numbers you would like to see, but when I've seen him play, he's been ok. He's not a big guy, at 5' 9" but has 180 lbs, so he's stocky. He's certainly gotten off to a good start though.... with 5 and 1 in 7 games. Play him with Suzuki more and he could do really well. And I was sorry to see Ylonen get sent down instead of Pitlick.
