I was thinking the same thing. I have no doubt Gallagher will answer the call. I just don't know who will be the opponent. Maybe the guy he hit - Pelech I think.

Nice pic of Lafontaine. It was unusual for an American at that time to play in Canada. I dont know the story but he put up monster numbers.
I liked Rick Jeanerette's calls when he scored- the La La Lafontaine. 😀

Islanders are a pretty unexciting team. Their forecheck almost got one at Barron's expense in the first. I expect they'll expose him for more opportunities as the game goes on.

Unless the line had been on the ice in their own zone and he was gassed, it could have been that he was being disciplined and staying with the Dman along the boards. Struble and Barron were both checking the same guy so their defensive ’shape’ was out of whack. It could easily be that someone else wasn’t where they should have been. The coaches will know. |

Someone should go to Canadian Tire and buy that target they put on street hockey nets - the one with the picture of the goalie with the 4 corners cut open.
