And now the Leafs have signed 32-year-old Ken Klee. They may have gotten older, but this is the type of guy I would've loved to have seen in Montreal. www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story.asp?id=55355The Leafs have four blue-chip defensemen waiting for a shot at the show and Klee will help them make the transittion. Excellent signing by the buds IMHO. Cheers.

Actually, jkr, they have three blueliners that were in the WJC. In addition to Colaiacavo (6'1", 185 lbs), they have - ex-Ottawa 67's captain, Brendan Bell (6'1", 207 lbs),
- Ian White (5'9" but made an impact at the last WJC)
That's only three, but I thought they had another young defensive prospect in the system. Anyway, these three were contributors to the silver medal last year. I honestly think Leaf fans have something to look forward to with their young up and coming blueliners. Offensive prospects are entirely different however. They traded away their top guy (I thought anyway) Brad Boyes in order to land Owen Nolan. If I remember that fourth guy I'll let you know, buds. Cheers.

hehe. Dis, I think the guy you are looking for is Max Kondratiev or Pierre Hedin when it comes to TO blueline prospects. I've heard of Hedin for sure Marc, but Kondratiev slipped by me. I'm going to look him up though. Merci. Just the same, I honestly think there's a ton of potential for the buds' future blueline. Might be interesting to see who wins; Quinn in keeping the veterans, or Ferguson in promoting the youngsters. They'll have to work together but that might be difficult. That's another string though. Cheers.
