anyone else watching the B's and Avs on TSN? the Avs on HOME ICE have had their 4th line of Bataglia-Hahl-Cummins(!) out numerous times in the 1st period against the Bruins top line of Knuble-Thornton-Murray. As a result it's now 2-1 Bruins. How the heck does that happen on HOME ICE?
Wake the heck up Granato.

The Avs got completely owned tonight. In a way, I hope that the Bruins/Habs rivalry will be as good as ever when we meet (at the end of the month...?). The Avs need a real coach right now. They have very few role players, as Pierre McGuire said, and their defensive system is a little bit lacking. I think that the Avs may be looking for a new goalie before long. Who do you think we can get for Garon?

Pierre McGuire was venting about the very same thing last night on TSN (4th line at home vs. top line of visiting team) according to Bob McKenzie this morning on Team 990.

Tony Granato is an NHL coach? How did that happen? Maybe Lacroix is a genius in some areas, but...
