Check out this beauty:
"A lot of the calls were questionable," Maple Leafs defenseman Wade Belak said. "I think that we only had one power play to their six. It was pretty lopsided. It is really tough to win that way. We just have to be disciplined, but a lot of the calls were questionable."
Those were his remarks regarding the tie against San Jose on the weekend. Anybody else find it ironic that somebody who frequents trips to the box is complaining about the quality of the officiating?

Belak goes hard to the boards. D-men keep their heads up when he's around. But, in the long run, he's very ineffectual....he doesn't seem to know what to do with the puck once he gets it...and he takes way too many stupid penalties.
A bit more puck sense and discipline, and Belak could be a second line PF in this league. But he's not...and he's a Leaf 4th liner....and that's good.

I haven't visited HabsRus much this year. Real life interferred, so the new members won't know me.
Anyway, Belak is a joke. The serious Leafs fans don't like Belak and wish the Leafs would get rid of him. We don't even like to have 8 minutes a game on line 4.

This is typical Belak. He thinks that every call against T.O is a bad call. He probably takes the most extra unsportsmanlike penalties of anybody I've seen in awhile. At least the Leafs have tired of this clown.
