Poor guy, his ninth concussion. He took a clean hit from Doig. He was effective again because he wasn't obsessed about protecting himself anymore. It was bound to happen. Might well be the end of his hockey career, let's just hope he won't suffer any long term damage...

Man - I really think it's time to hang them up - he's going to be a vegetable if it happens again...
but is it not compulsively stupid to go and pick a fight immediately after? Begging for more shots to the head there Eric?

His going after Doig was sheer instinct, originating in a lower level of the brain than that associated with intelligence. d'Arsey Tucker manifested similar behavior when he attacked Jason Blake after having been hit in the eye.
