Could it be that the Bertuzzi thing is just a sympton of a deeper problem in Vancouver (with apologies to Vancouverites on this board). It's one thing to take your hockey seriously as a fan; it is quite another to go overboard and attack a fan wearing the opposing team's jersey.
Of course, the news we get "out east" may be a little skewed -- more details of what happened with the beating/kicking of the fan in the Flames jersey would be appreciated.
