Entering the playoffs, the Detroit Red Wings boasted 2,203 games of playoff experience. They had 25 players averaging 88 postseason games a man. Those Red Wings have a combined 132,180 minutes of playoff hockey on their resume — and that doesn't even count overtimes. One person would have to play every game for 27 seasons in the regular season to play 2,203 games. Hockey tradition says that should give the Red Wings a significant advantage, but hockey tradition must not be watching what has happened this month. - usatoday.com/sports/hockey/columnist/allen/2004-04-29-allen_x.htm
