PHILADELPHIA (CP) - There is walking a mile in someone else's shoes and then there's skating a mile in someone else's skates.
The latter, it would seem, is infinitely more challenging which has made Philadelphia Flyer Sami Kapanen one of the most intriguing stories of these Stanley Cup playoffs.
A lifelong forward, the speedy Finn has turned heads with his defensive prowess since being pressed into service as a defenceman in both the Flyers' series with Toronto and now in the Eastern Conference final against the fleet and aggressive Tampa Bay Lightning.
