Congrats to the Kelowna Rockets on the Memorial Cup victory. What a season for their goalie, Kelly Guard. Look at these regular season numbers...topped off with the tournament's MVP and Top Goaltender awards. Games Played 62 Goals Against 95 Average 1.56 Shots Against 1273 Saves 1178 Save % .925 Wins 44 Losses 14 Ties 4 OTL 0 Shutouts 13 Tournament: GAA 0.75 Save % .971 Incredible. His season GAA and SOs are CHL records. He was a free agent (he went undrafted) and Ottawa signed him to a multi-year deal just before the tournament began. Leafs asleep at the switch again. ;D Finally, perhaps a tender to put the Sens over the top...they hope. Good move on their part as Lalime and Prusek have proven nothing in the post-season. tsn.ca/nhl/news_story.asp?id=83533Sounds like a guy the Canucks should've been looking at as early as last year.
