... of the playoffs that is. Who should it go to? Is it wide open? I think it is more wide open than ever. There is no clear cut choice for me. Here's who I think are the front runners:
Iginla: He's second in scoring, and first in leadership. He's the most complete player going. He's not carrying the Flames on his back, but he's certainly a catalyst.
Kiprusoff: The unflappable one. He's had maybe two bad games in the playoffs, and bounced back with killer performances after each one. He makes the routine saves and the spectacular ones. His play has given the defencemen a lot of confidence.
St Louis: He leads the playoffs in scoring. His supporting cast has made life a lot easier for him.
Richards: He's got more "big" points than anyone else in a Bolts uniform. Almost all of his goals are clutch goals. Ask the Habs and Flyers.
Honourable mention to Gelinas. If he scores the series winner in the Finals he has to get some votes. Who can say that they scored the series winner in all four rounds of a single playoff year. He's got two of them in OT.
