He's making a strong push. It's likely the only way to find out if there is any support for the team at all, beyond the fans. It's a noble effort on his part, but I think it's destined to fail. In the end, the team will end up in one of three markets. They are Portland, Seatle, and Houston. I wonder what new nickname will get dreamed up. The Portland Thorns? The Seatle Emeralds (kinda like that one)? The Houston Cow-tippers?
