I think if naslund goes for 3yrs/18 mill, then MTL should have no problem signing foresburg for the same amount.
Or is he gonna be worth more???

Why do we want an injury prone centre who could retire to Sweden on a moments notice or whim? We have two centres, and unless we plan to move one of them he's not what the team needs.

the pickings are getting slimmer. the injury proned players have had a year to heal up. it may be a risk that has to be taken.

Why do we want an injury prone centre who could retire to Sweden on a moments notice or whim? We have two centres, and unless we plan to move one of them he's not what the team needs. Sign him for three years. If he goes back to Sweeden and retires in one year he frees up cap room. Too many teams will find themselves with 35+ year old veterans living off their reputations and long contract cap money. |
