from another board
heard it this morning on the Buffalo station
Huet , Ryder , # 22 ,and the rights to Perezoghin
for Bergeron and Bostons # 8 pick
The broadcaster mentioned Boston is hot to trot for Huet , and have no problems dealing within their division.

Thanks for passing it along as it is always interesting to speculate.
I don't understand all the media hype regarding Bergeron wanting to/going to play in Montreal. The guy flat-out said that he hates/hated the Habs and I don't see him staying in the CH long after he becomes an UFA if we do go get him.

Seems really lopsided in Boston's favor. They get a 30 goal scorer, a starting goalie, a late 1st rounder & the rights to a 3rd/4th liner for Bergeron & their 8th.
BG won't trade Huet until he is sure Price is ready.

Honestly, buzz, my source told me that there was an offer given to Boston on Bergeron. However, he didn't have any names, details. Out of Ottawa this morning: To Edmonton; Wade Redden and Antoin Vermette To Ottawa; Jason Smith and Sean Horcroft (sp?) Cheers. Late Edit: this was reported by the Team 1200 yesterday as I was driving into Ottawa. The only thing holding it up is Redden's OK.

Edmonton wins this trade. Redden's a stud defenseman and Vermette is a gritty checking line player who also puts up points.
