Is his price too high? No cap space? He always looked solid as a Red Wing. He hits...makes the good pass. Composure. A. Markov, Komi, Hamrlik, D. Markov, O'Byrne, Gorges. (Streit, Bouillon) Dandenault must say goodbye. All of a sudden, we look a little deeper on D....no? It doesn't fill all the glaring needs we have....but it would help in taking pressure off our goalies. Or is there a reason he's still available of which I'm not aware? A genuine scoring threat next....or first perhaps? So many needs!

I think he's priced himself out of the market. Now don't take this as written in stone because I'm relying on my swiss cheese memory. IIRC he wants 4-5 mil a year.

That must be the only thing keeping this guy from signing with anybody. Not sure what offers he's been recieving but barring an injury he seems to have lost any leverage he had. I wouldn't mind he toughness if the price was reasonable. If the Habs could dump Dandy's salary I'd take Markov for a couple seasons. HFTO
