Hmmm...
I wonder how long the Penguins will go with Sabourin and Conklin as their goalies...

Especially after the pasting they took last night. If they want to make a serious run they have to do something but Shero is dealing ffrom a position of weakness now.

Huet or Halak going to Pittsburgh doesn't seem unlikely so long as the return includes either Malkin or Staal.

They'd have to overpay huge for the Habs to send them a goaltender really huge. Why give a team in your conference a goalie when they are threatening your playoff spot. HFTO

I wouldn't mind taking Erik Christensen off their hands.

We like to believe that Price, Huet, Halak and Danis are supremely gifted future Hall of Famers. Last time I checked the Hab's and Bulldogs goals against average and save percentages, the goaltenders are slightly above averaage. Even Price doesn't know how to keep people out of the top shelf of the refrigerator and is playing much too deep in the crease. I don't see Shero in a panic.

Roberts? Roberts? We already have enough slow guys/old guys. His leadership isn't enough to have him on the team. Sydor . . . OK.
But I don't see anything happening, least of all with someone in our conference.
An aside: do you realize that Boston is in second/fourth place? We need to play them a whole bunch more before they gain too much ground on us. Maybe we can trade scheduling -- we'll take someone's Boston and give them our _____ .

________Devils, Panthers, Leafs, Red Wings, Senators, Predators. Need I go on? It's so depressing. Sigh, it wasn't long ago that I would look forward to playing the Sens because we could take them.

Huet or Halak going to Pittsburgh doesn't seem unlikely so long as the return includes either Malkin or Staal. One of the local radio jockies here in town is a real Flyers buff. He said the best part of the game was watching Crosby sulk on the bench. However, Staal looks to be going through his sophmore jinx right now. I don't think Pittsburgh will give up on him all the easily. Might take a bit more than Halak to bring him our way ... that is if he's available at all. Would love to see him in Montreal though. Cheers.

Still tough as nails. 41 year old Roberts beat the crap out of 23 year old Ben Eager the other night. Pretty embarassing to be beaten up by someone old enough to be your father. ;D
