On satellite hotstove Strachan said Vinny wants out of TB for a bigger market. Strachan suggested LA, NY or MTL.
The only thing is is that he broke the Pronger out of EDM and Heatly out of ATL stories so he has been accurate a couple of times.... but so has ecklund ;D

To be honest, if next season I'm trying to negotiate with Vinny and we're struggling, I call up Gainey and see what I can get. It almost seems inevitable he'll be in Montreal, and it's the one place that IMO would pay through the roof for him (or at least as much as anyone else).

Didn't Strachan also say that TBay ownership wants to keep Vinny but Richards might be the odd man out?

I'm glad were hearing something of wanting to play in a big market from Vinny.He's won his cup and is living the easy life golf cars weather etc. etc.
Really the only market for him is Montrea, his idol is Beliveau and it would be amazing if he got a chance to play in front of le Gros Bill before he passes.If Vinny played here it would be a zoo for him but with the timing of the teams rise if he brought the cup home he'd be a demi god forever in Quebec.That would be spectacular,it honestly would be an experience he could never imagine.
