Price starting Tuesday so that says to me that the possibility of Huet being traded is still a possibility.Honestly I hope he is the chances are slim he'll resign so I get something for him and Ryder tommorrow.

HFTO This is just weird. Why would Carbo annouce this today. Doesn't he usually wait on gameday ? Are the habs throwing a line to the other GM saying that Huet might be on the block ? I suppose it's better that way than just sending a fax and say :" Do you want Huet ?" This way, it might make the other GM make the call asking " Is your goalie on the block ??" Or simply Carbo just has a gut feeling Price will bounce back..... It's a "surprising" call to say the least.... PS: the Habs also cancelled the practice tomorrow. probably to keep the players away from the circus.... PSS: CKAC: "they did an early clean-up in the Bell centre press conference room.."....  |

Carbonneau almost always announces the starter the day before.
That being said, Montreal is really trying to force Price into the starters role. This could be a total disaster.. one way or another.
