I don't see it on their site yet. That would hurt.

That is nowhere near enough for Huet....nowhere near....unless it's a 3-way deal somehow.
Carey Price is now the man.....along with Halak.
Perhaps Gainey is with Skilly....he's seen enough.
Oh well, perhaps the Caps got a lot better in net...and that's bad news for the Leafs. Ha.....

done deal, i guess that is all he could get, i'm surprised, but also happy to see halak and price up there, tired of the huet choke.

Gainey obviously wasn't going to sign Chris this summer. He's a UFA. It's a deep draft. Huet hasn't won anything in the playoffs. He's in his 30s. It's a gamble, but we'll see how it plays out.

Well it seems that we will be going into the playoffs riding Price and Halak... Ballsy move by Gainey.

Maguire is the only one praising it. He's flip flopped with respect to Huet - one daying loving him the next hating. Huet has struggled of late and not made the big saves of late. One has to wonder if Gainey is eying an experienced back up for Carey. Roloson?

1. I think anyone who thinks Huet would fetch much more than the 2nd is looking through real thick rose glasses. 2. I wouldn't have made the trade fwiw. 3. It doesn't surprise me.

It looked like Bob was trying to shed some salary so he could land Hossa, but I guess Pittsburgh had a better offer on the table. It's Carey's team now...with no veteran goalie in the system.

No matter how he looked, it wasn't necessary. Montreal could have picked up Hossa without any other movements.
