We need a win tonight...the Rangers are playing the Thrashers and you basically have to think they will win that game.
We need to maintain our 2 point lead.
No Berezin should help!

and we were outshot 15 - 8 in the first. Sounds like time for a intermission Big Bird style shakeup. Defensemen defend and (my gosh ... block shots) and forwards shoot.

Perrault needs to show up.... he's playing like an AHLer...
And man was that TQS guy ever giving hell to Lecavalier, he really wanted to get that one quote out of him, trying to get him to say he wanted out of TB, he didn't like the coach, wants to be traded, something like that. Vinny did pretty well considering - but if I were him I'd turn down the next interview request from these buffoons...

Speaking of Vinny, if you want more proof this guy is just ready to bust out...anyone see that Pass to Willis in the 1st? Yet, he only played 2:41!!!! Tortorella's got no clue.

Vinny is not yet "corrupted" and still gives candid interviews. It was pretty clear he ain't happy with his utilization and dreams about coming to Montreal...
When the reporter told him "...people say you'd look good in red, white and blue..." a big goofy smile lite up his face: "..oooh, I love Montreal...", "..I went to dinner with some guys...", "...I really love Montreal that's for sure..."
Not your typical "...Montreal is a storied franchise where anyone would like to play but I'm a Lightning, the organization is treating me good, bla, bla, bla..."

I will say this again:..2:47 of ice time in the 1st...something is wrong with Tortorella, because Vinny did nothing wrong on the ice and made some very good offensive plays..I see why he wants out.

ain't our '60 minute penalty kill' a thing of beauty to behold? guess our boys, with the exception of théo, are just allergic to rubber.
